Ann De Morgan

Born in Madras in India in 1739 and married first to Captain John Innes, by whom she had 4 children, and then following his death she married James West in 1761 by whom she had another 15 children. It would appear that the family left India around 1773/74 as her last 8 children were born in London. Sometime between 1789 and 1792 she returned with James to Madras (she was not present at the marriage of her son James Innes in Chelsea in 1792). James died in 1802 and in October 1805 she returned again to England aboard the Dover Castle, accompanied by her grandson John Parry who was suffering from ill-health.
